Joe Weinman is a frequent global keynoter, digital strategist, and experienced telecom and IT executive who is the author of the Amazon #1 Hot New Release in Computers and Technolgoy, Digital Disciplines: Attaining Market Leadership via the Cloud, Big Data, Social, Mobile, and the Internet of Things (Wiley CIO, 2015), also available in Chinese (PTPress, 2016).
Mr. Weinman is also the author of Cloudonomics: The Business Value of Cloud Computing (Wiley, 2012), which has been translated into two Chinese editions: (PTPress, 2014) and (PTPress, 2015). He is also the contributor to Regulating the Cloud: Policy for Computing Infrastructure (MIT Press, 2014) and a forthcoming Spring textbook on big data applications.

In November, 2007, in an article for Business Communications Review titled “The Evolution of Networked Computing Utilities,” he predicted dynamic pricing, exchanges, futures and options for computing, as well as fog computing, the Intercloud, and the advantages economics of hybrid architectures.
A longtime industry executive, Mr. Weinman has held leadership positions in area such as corporate strategy, innovation management, business development, product management, operations, sales, and R&D, most recently as Senior Vice President, Cloud Services and Strategy at Telx (now Digital Realty) and formerly at AT&T Bell Labs, AT&T corporate, and HP.
Mr. Weinman has been awarded 22 U.S. and international patents in a variety of technologies such as cloud and distributed computing and storage, cost-aware job scheduling, pseudoternary line coding, simulation and workflow, consumer goods, wireline and wireless technologies, telecommunications, web search algorithms, and homomorphic encryption.
Mr. Weinman has keynoted events globally for companies and organizations such as the America Institute of Certified Public Accountants, ABB, AT&T, Akamai, (Nokia) Alcatel-Lucent, Autodesk, Avasant, CenturyLink, Cheetah Mobile, Cisco, (Dell) EMC, Hitachi, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Mirantis, (Time Warner Cable) Navisite, NTT, (Parallels) Odin, SAP, Telestra, Tencent, and the United Nations.
Mr. Weinman received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Cornell University and the University of Wisconsin – Madison respectively, and completed Executive Education at the International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Sean Castette joined GETCO in 2001 and worked there until its merger with Knight Capital to create KCG. At GETCO, Mr. Castette held a variety of roles including Chief Technology Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Head of FICC Trading. In each of these roles, Mr. Castette helped a pioneer in the electronic trading industry rapidly expand globally.
KCG continues to be a leading global market maker. The firm’s market making business involves both buying and selling securities to provide two-sided markets on exchanges around the world. As a global market maker, KCG plays a critical role in helping to lower the cost of capital for businesses and in reducing trading costs for investors.
Mr. Castette began his career in 1994 with Andersen Consulting in Chicago where he built customer acquisition, provisioning and billing systems for a local and long distance telecommunications firm. In 1998 he became a partner at Technology Services Group, a Chicago-based consulting firm specializing in web-based workflow and imaging systems. In 2000 Sean joined Yes Trader, an electronic trading start- up firm, where he led the team in developing a new enterprise trading platform.
Mr. Castette earned a B.S. in Computer Sciences from the University of Illinois.
Satish S. Nandapurkar
Satish S. Nandapurkar is a founder and Principal with Silveus Financial, an affiliate of the Silveus Insurance Group – the nation’s largest farm crop insurance agency.
Mr. Nandapurkar had previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX) overseeing business operations and market development of CCX as well its subsidiary, the Chicago Climate Futures Exchange. When CCX was successfully sold to the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) in 2010, Nandapurkar remained until just recently to manage the subsequent integration of CCX into ICE.
Prior to joining CCX, Mr. Nandapurkar served as Director and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Futures Exchange (formerly known as Eurex US), the first futures exchange in the U.S. to implement a fully electronic trading platform with a fair and transparent market model, an open membership policy, and significantly lower fees for all participants.
Mr. Nandapurkar joined USFE from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange where he was the Managing Director of Products and Services and a member of the management team. In this role, he had overall responsibility for CME’s sales, marketing, and product development efforts. He was instrumental in the exchange’s transition from open outcry to electronic trading as well as its transition from a member owned organization to a shareholder value driven, NYSE listed corporation.
Prior to joining CME in March of 2000, Mr. Nandapurkar held senior management roles in derivative products trading and sales at a number of prominent international banks. From 1997 to 1999, Nandapurkar was Managing Director and Global Head of Foreign Exchange Options for the Bank of America. From 1996 to 1997, he was Managing Director and Head of Structured Equity Products Trading at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell.
Mr. Nandapurkar began his financial services career in 1988 when he joined O’Connor & Associates, one of the world’s leading futures and options trading organizations. After Swiss Bank Corporation purchased O’Connor in 1991, he was named manager of SBC’s North American Structured Transactions Group. In 1993, Mr. Nandapurkar was promoted to Global Head of Exotic Options for SBC, and from 1994 to 1996, he served as Managing Director and Global Head of Exotic Options and Quantitative Methodologies for SBC in London.
Mr. Nandapurkar served as an active duty United States Air Force officer from July 1984 through July 1988. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain in 1993. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a Master of Arts degree in economics, with a finance and capital markets concentration, from Boston University.
Mr. Bodkin founded Think Big to help companies realize measurable value from Big Data. Previously was VP Engineering at Quantcast and led the data science and engineer teams that pioneered that use of Hadoop and NoSQL for batch and real-time decision making. Prior to that, Founder of New Aspects, which provided enterprise consulting for Aspect-oriented programming. Also was Co-Founder and CTO of B2B applications provider C-Bridge, which led to a successful IPO.
Matt Calman has led major innovation work in transaction processing, mobile commerce and collaborative research in financial services. He is named inventor on 49 issued U.S. patents (June 2015), 4 foreign patents and more than 250 patent applications. He is an experienced expert witness for intellectual property disputes and an active innovation consultant and mentor.
In 27 years with Bank of America, Mr. Calman led many teams, including Process Design for Check 21: his team implemented the first U.S. interbank check image exchange at billion-scale (2004), enabling new image products and business models. He build the team behind the Gateway Innovation Lab which, in 6 years, delivered over 500 simulations, prototypes, customer tests and trials spanning mobile apps, payments, client advisory, check & cash deposits, ATM, augmented reality, security, biometrics, data analytics, video servicing and decision support, and collectively filed over 500 patent applications. Globally, his team built the Product Innovation Lab in Beijing with China Construction Bank (2009).
During the same time, Matt was appointed Senior Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab’s Center for Future Banking and sponsored graduate teams at Carnegie Mellon University’s HCI Institute.
In industry, he has founded and led peer collaboration groups to tackle complex business and technology issues, most recently Mobey Forum North America. He is on the board of the Association of Managers of Innovation and previously held board seats with Mobey Forum (Helsinki), the Smart Card Alliance, Electronic Check Clearinghouse Organization (ECCHO), the Viewpointe Users Group, the Financial Services Technology Consortium (FSTC), and the BondMaster Users Association.
Mr. Calman was an undergraduate at Carnegie Mellon University and earned his Executive MBA from Georgia State University. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
